Our next release on Love & Other comes from DJ, producer and broadcaster, Marvin Humes, who debuts on the label with brand-new single, 'Put Your Hands Up'. Born and raised in South London, Marvin's fascination with music started from an early age. After being influenced by the likes of Todd Terry, Frankie Knuckles and Masters at Work, his father, who was a DJ, gave him the chance to play regular support slots at his own shows.

Since then, he has played sets at some of the world's most prestigious nightclubs including Ushuaia, Ibiza Rocks, Pacha and Hï in Ibiza, performing b2b sets with Jonas Blue, Sigma and Sigala alongside headline slots at We Are FSTVL and Lovebox in the UK. Reflections with all the sound design, resonating sounds and lyrics is intended to show the fragility of one’s own perception of who you actually are. In our daily lives we are always confronted with choices, actions and thoughts of what the world is telling us who we are… and we get lost in that tussle where we lose a sense of who we actually are (listening inwards). Everyone has their own “heroes journey”, but only a few ever become acknowledged of it.
