Comeback is a good word! More than that, it is fascinating aspect of human resilience and the capacity to overcome challenges. Comebacks are a universal concept that extends to various aspects of life, including personal development, relationships, and even societal changes. RoP has been cooking an OMNIBUS comeback for a lil while now and it gives us great pleasure to present to you a double release from our friend Fer. Feels good to be back!

The initial passage of RoP into existence took place with its members scattered between Ljubljana and Rotterdam. Naturally, we consider them both home turf, and a healthy and frequent cultural exchange between the two as the honorary objective. The foundation stone in the frequency of Eardrop 02 is at last laid by our good friend Yutte, a seasoned ‘nultien’ selector and a co-founder of Enter the System crew, existing in the cross-section of music, photography, and cinema. Finishing off yet another peculiar year, we must stay true to creativity and its essence, as it links us to the process of evolution. The next selector to curate our mix series has embedded this message masterfully in the final installment of 2021. Dirac is a member of the Georgian electronic music scene, known for its fresh sound and purist feel unrivaled across the world. RoP is delighted to showcase it as an audible glimpse on EARDROP #3.

An old Norse proverb goes as follows:

"What is hidden in snow, is revealed at thaw"

A universal truth that correctly dovetails the experience of our next Eardrop selecta. Tonchius has been meticulously following her digging instincts across the hidden spots in her native Norway. Legend has it that each and every record in this musical offering stems from the Norwegian permafrost, making it a pure and emboldening sequence from a close friend. It gives us great delight to lock it in on spot #5.
