Pseudo Reality Architecture uses sound as a design tool, searching for the best solution in order to use sound attributes.

Good architecture depends on how good its soundscape is. How sound behaves and dictates how inhabitants feel. The noise, the stress, the nervousness, the good sleep, the good music, the loudness, how loud we speak, how we hear the words in return. It all compasses into one simple attribute, the oldest and most primitive of all: the sound. Sound makes us listen. Listening makes us present. Present and alive. Future Architecture is build of senses. Future Architecture belongs to the Sound.

This issue presents a reflection on the spatial aspects of sound alongside an examination of the transformative and temporal dimensions of space. Immersed concentrates on one specific side of the spatial experience, namely sound, presenting new theoretical insights as well as relevant case studies. Sound is a spatial event, a material phenomenon and an auditive experience rolled into one. It can be described using the vectors of distance, direction and location. Within architecture, every built space can modify, position, reflect or reverberate the sounds that occur there. Sound embraces and transcends the spaces in which it occurs, opening up a consummate context for the listener: the acoustic source and its surroundings unite into a unique auditory experience. Recent studies into the ‘auditive’ dimension of various cultural practices have provided insights into experiential aspects that have heretofore remained underexposed. Some of these studies emphasize a critical reassessment of periods and positions, simultaneously suggesting modifications to our current understanding of space and place.

However, it should be mentioned that some artificial and imaginary facts are present in the universe. To these facts we can belong time. It can be measured, as we realize it, only on the planet Earth. Same as other planets that contain the atmosphere can hold a sound around it and measure it in its frequency. As every rule there is an exception, some undersized stars also can record a sound on the certain frequency. But everything of it only creates a limits.
