Dix-neuvième podcast avec @owghost !

Actif depuis plus de dix ans sous le nom de DoC, ce DJ et producteur breton a multiplié les projets au fil des années. Entre les soirées Crab Cake, le label Forecast ou encore ÖND, son CV est maintenant bien rempli. 
Il a également consacré son temps à façonner une musique complexe, jouant avec les contrastes et oscillant entre ambient, break ou encore IDM. Son nouveau projet - né il y a peu sous le pseudo Owghost - l'entraîne vers des sonorités plus techno tout aussi énergique qu'hypnotique.

HORIZONS PODCAST #19 - OWGHOST

The author of this mix is C3O4D3E (Sergey Pashabekov). A vinyl artist and not only a figure from Yekaterinburg. DJ-resident of several bars of the Ural capital. Music collector, philophonist with a long experience.  He started collecting vinyl since 1998. The main directions of the collection are electro, techno, house, UK garage. Also found a place for experimental electronics on audio cassettes. Sergey is one of not many in Yekaterinburg who plays sets from tapes.

The location for this release was a monument of constructivist architecture - the White Tower, namely the technical room under the tank. This water tower has a huge history since 1929-31. This engineering structure, designed by the Soviet engineer and builder - Reisher Moisey Veniaminovich, was included in many domestic and foreign publications and textbooks as an example of avant-garde architecture. Today it is an international non-commercial project initiated by the PODELNIKI art group to save the White Tower. 

Now there is an active fundraising for the reconstruction of the building.

Автор этого микса - C3O4D3E (Сергей Пашабеков). Виниловый и не только деятель из Екатеринбурга. Диджей-резидент нескольких баров уральской столицы. Коллекционер музыки, филофонист с большим стажем.  Собирать винил начал с 1998 года. Основные направления коллекции - электро, техно, хаус, юкей гараж. Также  нашлось местечко и для экспериментальной электроники на аудиокассетах. Сергей – один из не многих в Екатеринбурге, кто играет  сеты с кассет.

Локацией для это выпуска стал памятник архитектуры конструктивизма - Белая Башня, а именно техническое помещение под баком. Эта водонапорная башня несёт за собой огромную историю с 1929-31 годов. Это инженерное сооружение, спроектированное советским инженером- строителем - Рейшер Моисеем Вениаминовичем,  вошло во многие отечественные и зарубежные издания и учебники как образец авангардной архитектуры. На сегодняшний день — это международный некоммерческий проект, инициированный арх-группой PODELNIKI для спасения Белой Башни. 

Сейчас идёт активный сбор средств на реконструкцию здания.
