Void Vision is a Philadelphia based solo female Minimal Synth / Cold Wave project from Shari Wallin. 

Already included by Rough Trade in their seminal Synth Wave compilations, the single is anticipating her full lenght 'Sub Rosa', out for Mannequin Records later in 2014. 

Remix by Vanzetti & Sacco aka Jos Van Galen with the Otto Kraanen, the boss of the acclaimed Bordello A Parigi from Rotterdam! TIP!

A violinist and pianist since childhood, Zaratustra takes his name from the symphonic poem “Thus Spoke Zarathustra” by Richard Strauss, an epic and powerful piece which inspires him in his compositions. As a producer, Zaratustra was first inspired by the music of the 80s (Italo, new wave, EBM), then extended his palette towards rave and prog-house sounds straight from the 90s. This versatility translates into his DJ sets through a taste for eclecticism and timing: certain atmospheres lend themselves more to a captivating dark disco, others to a dynamic and sunny trance! In 2023, he created the Apéro Notturno collective, which aims to organize Italo/trance parties in Paris in order to celebrate music inspired by the 80s and 90s. Around the same time, Zaratustra launched a live turntable/synthesizer show with Pol Sibil playing the electric guitar.

Cosmic dance and spatial atmospherics are at the very centre of Zakmina’s productions, as the Lithuanian producer readies an appetizing EP for Dave Harvey’s Futureboogie, backed with a remix from the always on-point Gnork.

With releases already wetting our ears on Critical Monday, XXX and Roam Recordings, Zakmina spreads his wings across three new cuts. ‘Church Of Madness’ pumps with oodles of new beat drums and soaring synths, anchored by a fat arpeggiated bassline, whilst ‘Déjà vu’ is a first class chugger, its drums as big as 80’s shoulder pads, with glacial keys and breezy vocals comprising the seductive sensations on offer here.

Rhine-Main dance music wizard Chinaski sprinkles his dark-disco-ish vibes on Neurotiker's track Ojos Distantes, which comes as part of Neurotiker's The Dream Machine EP on Ritmo Fatale. A lush bass line combined with bleepy disco-chords make Chinaski's approach an intriguing spaced-out journey through and into the genre with the artist delivering a vibe one wants to move his/her waistline to the sexy bass line. If this is the start of 2021 then it raised the bars high for a better year, musically as well as for dance- and club culture.
