Stockholm's Ozgur Can brings his atmospheric house style to two new tunes on Stripped Down, while a Sasha Carassi remix completes this fantastic package.
 
Ozgur Can is a producer and audio-engineer who has been putting out all manner of house, tech and prog fusions since 2003. He also releases as Autonomi amongst other aliases, and has landed on established labels like Truesoul, Cocoon and Sincopat.
 
He kicks off this latest missive with the dark and sultry 'Chance.' Spoken word vocals lend the heavy groove and warped bassline real intimacy while tension builds through the sleek synths. It all adds up to a perfectly heady house track for those cosy dancefloor moments. 'We In Minor' is another well crafted, deep cut house groove, but this one has a more expansive, epic sense of drama. The busy cosmic synth sequences bring the track to life and ensure maximum impact.
 
Sasha Carassi might be an Italian veteran but he is still filled with fresh ideas and always brings that to the fore with his big techno tunes on Drumcode, Unrilis and Diynamic. His superb remix keeps you on a tantalising knife-edge. It has bright, sharp synths cutting through the rubbery bass while an ever present sense of turbulence unfolds up top.

We welcome talented Mexican producer Tamez who makes his debut on Uxoa Dutxa Elite with a two-track swell Ep titled Midnight which also includes a Di Rugerio remix.

Midnight is a very elegant track starting with a simple rhythmic base but with a fresh touch in the low toms while an atmospheric pad emerges to give an introduction to a very powerful and robust bass that carries a melodic line accentuating the offbeats of a very "Bodzin style", with a syncopated sequence that accompanies all the sound elements very well, an incredible track with a slight melancholic and sublime feeling at the same time.

Di Rugerio performs his reinterpretation of Midnight, giving a similar start to the drums but with a powerful bassline from the beginning, maintaining the original atmosphere that gives entry to the sonic journey while a new analog synthesizer sequence in key of G Minor is incorporated to give it a hypnotic brushstroke while we perceive the rise of the filters in the first break returning with a more intense and heavier energy, taking the melodic idea to new darker horizons.

To end this musical ride, we have Avalanche an atmospheric track from the beginning with a powerful kickdrum that makes an excellent accompaniment with the bassline between percussions that are randomly sounded at the beginning of a long break where abstract melodies announce the arrival of a very energetic and hypnotic sequence that raises its cutoff filters creating a tension throughout your body resembling the intensity of an avalanche, exploding with the powerful kickdrum, later the other rhythmic elements come together to generate an ecstasy between all the filters of the synthesizers.

A highly anticipated release for us due to the incorporation of Tamez into the Uxoa Dutxa Elite family, being an ideal EP to resonate again on the dance floors this fall of 2021.

Long time Mobilee fans will be pleased to hear Nolan & Luke Brancaccio's "See The Stars“, which encompasses that light and deep much loved Mobilee sound, with a future facing, breaks-infused cosmic journey through growling swelling synths, airy percussion, and evolving evocative vocal and instrumental story lines that interplay into a unique transcendental electronic trip pointing skyward.

We are thrilled to welcome this strong pairing to Mobilee, after collaborations on Crosstown Rebels & Bedrock. 

Nolan returns after recent EP "6AM / Drifter" became one of our favourite releases of 2021. His unique inspired genre-breaking creativity fits with the Mobilee ethos, and he never fails to deliver a quality record that stands the test of time. Luke Brancaccio brings a strong history from amongst the stalwarts of the boundary pushing progressive~melodic world, with many a release on Bedrock, collaborations with Nick Muir and John Digweed, and recent remixes of iconic classics including Rockers Revenge’s “Walkin’ On Sunshine” & Beth Hirsch’s “All I Need” for Last Man Music (legendary label of Maceo Plex, Solomun, UNKLE and Bookashade).

Stelios Vassiloudis' Mobilee debut takes the track to the club. Athens based Stelios is a rising force in electronic music and this rework showcases his depth of talent. Forceful drums drive the vocal message into a late-night stomper, with a sense of space through which to "See The Stars".

Completing the record, Russian stalwart Mike Spirit's alter ego Come Closer returns to the label after the success of "Milla Ella" EP with an ethereal interpretation that transports us immediately to an inner world of darkness and flashing light, further invoking Leyzen's all-encompassing experiential creation.

With 2018 as a dazzling year for both Hollt and Sandeep, the two friends team up again to combine their love for the melodic and deep. ‘Above Distance’ is the second collaboration between the DJ/producers featuring two tracks that compliment each other, whilst individually aimed at different moments during the night.

The release kicks off with ‘Above', a euphoric track designed for prime-time moments. The track’s groovy, yet sturdy start is followed by a compelling melody, after which the actual theme becomes apparent when the slightly darker bass line brings a new energy to the fold. Mid-track the energy unleashes full force, surely bringing the listener in a euphoric state of mind.

‘Distance’ is a warm, and laid back track that builds on an open atmosphere, where strings and solid drums are laying the foundation. The different layers of melody and a dark, yet compelling bassline are building, leading up to a characteristic break that evolves to a atmospheric climax. It’s a track heavily influenced by the long and deep sets both Hollt and Sandeep play in clubs like Toffler and Basis.

Hollt & Sandeep’s ‘Above Distance’ will be released on January 21st, 2019.
