Pauke Schaumburg are back on Katermukke , returning with three tracks full of their signature 
majestic ambiance and powerful low frequencies-adding new wrinkles to their game and showcasing their ever-evolving craft, resulting in the addition of three richly layered gems to their already impressive back catalog.
 
“Immerse” catches your attention right away, built around a triplet time signature and slowly 
ramping up the intensity until a short piano sequence cuts through the tension and adds a feeling of elation and hope which is carried forward throughout the track.
 
“Phases” sees another of Ken and Nobbys trademarks on full display, the masterful evolution of a track from gloomy, bass heavy groundwork into nothing but epic and triumphant euphoria.
 
“Solar” is based once more on a powerful bassline in classical Pauke fashion and shifts seamlessly between tense, slightly disorientating breakdowns and the absolute certainty that the sun will shine again for us, exemplified by a dreamy piano floating innocently on top.

he first big step was taken at the end of last year when the German duo revamped their own Tragedie label with the reflective but definitely techno-driving EP ‘Fast Fashion’. A new and major climacteric has not been long in coming. “Die Tragödie”, this is the title of the stunning forthcoming mini-album that Teenage Mutants (Christian and Fabio) will publish this 2024. Being more specific, the launch consists of four releases within a time frame of one and a half months.

"The void in silence, my existence, life science. Who am I?"

With these striking words, André Winter sets the tone for The Void, his latest
sonic exploration into the depths of electronic music. The track embodies a
moment of raw creativity, where silence is both an adversary and an open field of
possibilities.

"It's about a specific moment in the studio," André explains. "The creative process
often begins with a battle against silence. Me and the machines. The void feels
threatening, but at the same time, it opens up the opportunity to create something
new."

Known for his precise, brooding sound design and relentless drive, André Winter
crafts The Void with signature dark textures, hypnotic rhythms, and an immersive
atmosphere that pulls the listener into its enigmatic embrace. The track’s pulsating
basslines and intricate synth work mirror the internal dialogue between uncertainty
and creation, making it a powerful statement in his discography.
With The Void, André Winter once again proves his ability to transform abstract
emotions into sonic form, offering a piece that resonates on both cerebral and
physical levels.

The second track “Badlands” to the contrary comes up with a lot more gravity and craving. The bellowing bass melody, the crisp percussions and the trembling pads let you get the feeling of missing something but not knowing what.

Touring through Germany for quite some time as an Electronica and Downtempo act “Pauke Schaumburg” hereby give their debut on Ritter Butzke Studio.

Pauke Schaumburg:
Nobby and Kenno grew up in a small county called Schaumburg, near
Hanover (Lower Saxony, Germany). A few years ago they were known as Solo-DJs in local clubs and private partys. So it took a little time and a good bottle of absinthe until they finally decided to work together behind the mixer. "Pauke Schaumburg" was born. At that time their musical taste was influenced by the sound of the mid-nineties: techno, house and hard trance played a major role in Kennos and Nobbys record rack. Gradually developed the typical sound of Pauke Schaumburg: „The listener definitely expects a melodic and synthesizer-heavy sound. A track has to be able to trigger emotions - a set has to be a bit of a story - and in our opinion that works best with note sequences combined with synthesizer modulations. This can turn out to be in the mood from meloncholic to euphoric.“
