‘Bad Dreams’ was written in Rachel’s hometown of Atlanta. Being stuck in a verbally, emotionally and physically abusive relationship is a bad dream, it feels like a broken carousel and a never ending forgiving cycle. Feeling like there was no escape, she finally saw a light at the end of the tunnel. It took being pushed down enough times to get stronger and became the empowered woman she is today. She chose to fight for her life and finally walked away and never looked back from a real life nightmare. Rachel took the opportunity to express and vent away her crazy fate of what she went through through her music.
