Threts (Stephen Backhurst) is a Drum and Bass DJ and producer from the English South Coast of Brighton. Threts has been DJing for around 11 years and started producing around 2005, currently playing regular nights on the Brighton circuit. His most recent dance floor destroyers 'Dogfight' and 'Abyss' have been signed exclusively as a 'Double A' side by Brighton based, Serotone Recordings as their debut release out on Monday 21st October 2013. These two dance floor tracks have been supported by and gained lots of recognition from some of the biggest DJ's and Artists on the scene including The Prototypes. Threts’ influences come from all music genres where his trademark style focuses on high quality Intelligent, darker Drum & Bass.
