Here's a song we did for The Verses Project (http://theversesproject.com) as part of their "Memorise Psalm 139" series, with some great artwork by Lauren Miller.

The project has different artists writing songs that are word for word Bible verses, along with designs by some great designers which help people memorise scripture.

Bob Dylan's "Roll On John" is an elegy to John Lennon, inspired by a public minibus tour Dylan took of Lennon's childhood home in Liverpool in 2009. The song explores themes of fame, aging, and mortality, contrasting Lennon's tragic death with the enduring legacy of St. John the Apostle, another "John" who suffered but whose "light" shines on. 
The Stanleys come from Liverpool and initialy made this cover  from a jam session as John Lennon has always been a big influence. 
The Beatles tour starts at a near by place called The Picton Clock and Dylan’s visit is well known here in Wavertree Liverpool. Our take on this song which is over 5 minutes may have a difficult time getting heard for obvious reasons. Recently it was pointed out that all the songs on Rubber Soul are around 2 minutes long. This single pulls on WYLD’s favour for progressive pop with the use of electronic sounds. ‘Take Over’ is a feel good summer vibes track with smooth and inviting vocals of Cincinnati based artist Jake James and a special appearance from rapper Shopè from Canada. 

“Take Over started by me writing the backing track after hearing Jake James’ Album. I new I wanted to work with him, his voice and lyrics are crazy, and the way that guy writes melodies is something else” 

WYLD had been writing while going through some rough times. Take Over’ is a great reminder to him and now others about what faith means. 

“It’s all about who you are in God, letting God take over situations and being okay with that. As humans we love to be in control so trusting in something that you can’t see isn’t easy but is always worth it”. 

In a world full of labels, WYLD keeps his identity in his faith and showing people what it means to be a Christian.

"Grace" is the latest album from Brice Davis since the release of his sophomore album, "Organics" in 2012. 

"Grace" is an album containing 8 tracks centered around the theme of God's unmerited favor towards humankind. Although Jesus and his work on the cross was perfect, faith among Gods people is not flawless and is often sticky. Daily battles dictate what will sit on the throne's of our hearts - whether the Lord, or idols of the flesh. Although we are prone to wander and fall victim in attempting to satisfy ourselves with what cannot truly satisfy, God does not leave us to ourselves. God is active and shepherding our paths as we grow and are transformed from one degree of glory to another. While we wait, with eager hearts and groaning spirits, the grace of God is sustaining us and supplying us with everything we need for godliness.
