Children Come Running

Here's a song we did for The Verses Project (http://theversesproject.com) as part of their "Memorise Psalm 139" series, with some great artwork by Lauren Miller.

The project has different artists writing songs that are word for word Bible verses, along with designs by some great designers which help people memorise scripture.

"My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance;in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them."

Psalm 139:15-16

Psalm 119:9-16 has been the passage I keep coming back to recently. Decided it was time I wrote a song from it, so here's what I did today! It might change once I've lived with it for a bit, but here's version 1.

Let Me Not Wander

Here is one of the first versions of the song 'Perfect Love' from our album All Things New. It started as a much more chilled, acoustic-style song and ended up sounding quite different!

Wildest Dreams (Instrumental Demo)

A song I wrote from Psalm 139. Also the first track I used my new electric guitar on! Having a lot of fun taking that for a spin.

Eric Lemiere produced, co-wrote, and co-engineered this song. He also played the drums and synths.
