Here's a song we did for The Verses Project (http://theversesproject.com) as part of their "Memorise Psalm 139" series, with some great artwork by Lauren Miller.

The project has different artists writing songs that are word for word Bible verses, along with designs by some great designers which help people memorise scripture.

"My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance;in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them."

Rivers & Robots is an indie worship project from Manchester, UK. Originally started as a solo project in 2010, Rivers & Robots has since expanded to a band in 2012. We love Jesus and we love to worship through song, music, creativity and art. We aim to create songs that express and declare who God is, both lyrically and through music and creativity. These usually come in the form of indie, folk and electronic songs.

We’re a small part of a global worship movement being raised up right now, singing a new song (Isaiah 42:10) and preparing the way (Isaiah 40:3-5) for the return of Jesus. Aiming to glorify Him and declare His glory (Psalm 96), and to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength (Luke 10:27). We’re also quite partial to a bit of tea and cake.

Rivers & Robots is Jonathan Ogden (vocals, keyboards, samples/loops), David Hailes (guitar, ukelele, vocals), Nathan Stirling (bass, guitar, percussion, vocals) and Kelani Koyejo (drums, vocals). We currently have two albums out, with a new one coming early 2014. Sometimes we forget to pray and fast, being in constant connection with Jesus, we just get distracted with the things around us and it says in Revelations 2:4 "Nevertheless, I have something against thee, because thou hast left thy first love." If you feel like its hard for you to return to that strong connection you once had with God, Ask him to remind you because he's always gonna be here to listen, you are his child and he will always love you, no matter your faults and defects, also Jesus said "And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world." John 12:47... Most importantly is to have a son and father type relationship with God, dont see him as a being from another universe cause he's not, he made you in his image, and hes your Dad and all he wants to do is hang out with you everyday!
