Near your window sits a wolf and nightly she would call to you
One night in the evening chill the wolf crawled up into your room
There the wolf it stood before you in a younger womans form
standing in the moonlight she is startling and beautiful
all her words were straight and true
as death, his pointed finger bones
what the woman said to you had woken up your feral soul.
