I had great sucsess with my Orbital - Chime remix and decided a while back to remix/rework an old classic. I produced a deep & dark version on Needin 'U and I personally think it turned out great, and hopefully you think the same :)

The latest edition of our free download series welcomes Arude for his first appearance. As a fixture of the electronic underground for the better part of a decade, Ukrainian artist Arude is perhaps best known for his twenty-plus appearances on long-standing Berlin imprint Steyoyoke. It was this creative swell which set the stage for more recent projects via Beatfreak, Eklektisch, Radikon and Renaissance, all of which have been ideal landing spots for his elusive sound. An in-demand remixer for sometime, it was earlier this year that Arude took to re-interpreting ‘The Sound of Violence’ by French electro duo Cassius. Originally released in 2002 via Virgin Records and highlighted by vocals from Steve Edwards, the dancefloor anthem has the distinction of being the duo’s only track to reach #1 in the hugely influential Billboard Music Charts. Label boss Kasey Taylor returns alongside Karl Pilbrow for a return to home base on Vapour Recordings with a new 3 track EP.

The boys have been busy in the background of late. Having featured heavily on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat label in recent times, Kasey & Karl have been super busy on the remix front and have a host of remixes lined up for the tail end of 2024, with the first of a series of them being on our previous release by Hernan Cerbello - Back to City.

This time the duo fires out a trio of tracks with all different flavours. Sonorous has been heavily supported by Hernan Cattaneo and works a treat on the dance floors for peak time vibes. Alluvium favours the more emotive warm up vibes while Inscape is a mid set groover.

Rivet Spinners was formed in 2011 in Zrenjanin/Serbia,
 Jovan actively DJing since 2004 and his sets of the time‘ were House variants.
Today  actively involved in DJing and production, co-hosting weekly Serial Killers Radio Show and A&R Management on behalf of Digital Killers Records.
Having releases on worlds top hardcore techno label Yin Yang Records, Kool Katz Recordings, Alphawave Records, Digital Killers Records (DKR), Maintain Replay Records, Royal Hour Records
Over time their unique production style in both tech house and techno gained support from elite names such as Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Max Graham, Fatboy Slim, Kid Massive, StoneBridge to name a few.
Emerging from Serbian underground scene to the rest of the world, their sets are generally filled with stronger rhythms of tech house and techno sound adorns a unique selection of songs , and a skilled technique of mixing that gives a ”flow” through the entire set.

Chris is a producer/dj from Glasgow, Scotland.

Chris has been spinning tracks for over 18 years now since getting his first set of turntables back in 1999, that is where the journey began and he has never looked back since. From an early age he has been playing in various clubs spinning various different genres along his musical journey including performing in all the major music venues in Scotland as well as England & Ibiza over the years.

Chris has been focusing on his techno and hard techno productions since 2014 with main influences being Gary Beck, Dense & Pika, Enrico Sanguliano, Pig & Dan, Joseph Capriati, Julian Jeweil, Tobias Lueke, Sam Paganini to name a few. With releases so far on Gain records, Dope, Different Sound, Finder Records, General Surgery, Amalgm8 music, Terminus Audio, Free Spirit, REK, Twisted Recordings & many more since the start of 2015, Chris has been putting himself on the map. 

Right now Chris has many more releases and collaberations in the pipeline going forward & continuing to build a growing fan base over the years. Chris also hosts the No Signal Podcast show with Jase  Gallagher and is certainly gaining momnetum on Fnoob Techno Radio.
