While The Love Is Gone

Rivita and Asemahle met in South Africa, this is the 2nd song they are releasing together. When Asemahle sent Rivita the track, she instantly started rapping to it and 10 minutes later there was a song, This is the first release that Rivita is rapping on and going back to her roots and singing in her native language, Hindi!

"Saiyan Re" means lover and the song is about first love, innocence, naivety and growing into someone else after meeting that someone for the first time.

In this release Rivita bring together flavours from South Africa, South Asia and the rest of the world of modern music. A perfect introduction to her upcoming EP!

Saiyan Re

Rivita is a singer, songwriter, producer and composer. Originally from India, Rivita received her Bachelors degree in Popular Music Performance at BIMM, London and continued to gain a Masters in Composing for Film and TV at Kingston University, London. She moved to the United States in 2017 to pursue an MA in Audio Arts. Since then she has lived in NYC and LA. Currently based in LA, Rivita was invited to the GRAMMY Next program in 2021. She released her debut album "Snow Angels" in September of 2024 and is currently promoting the album as well as writing new music for her next one.
