"The tune came about by compiling a library of field recordings and making beats around them, I was lucky enough to be able to call on friends and record a real string section on top!. ‘Biakoye’ means unity in Twi (a variety of the Akan language spoken in southern and central Ghana). I wanted a title to reflect the variety of sources I pulled field recordings from."

GREYSCALE Special 049 - Armin Bender

The next release, scheduled for December 12, 2024, is the EP Sentir Bonito, born from a collaboration between Paula Garcés, a Colombian techno DJ, actress, and singer based in Bogotá, and the Swiss producers Titoffee and Aston Alba, both from the Valais region.

The song speaks about feeling good and protected in the arms of someone you love, wrapped in harmony.

Four remixes complete this winter release, featuring the mystic electronica of Leeu from South Africa, the deep house sounds of French producer Max TenRom, and the Latin bass from DJ Raff in Chile, Atarrayo in Colombia, and Aüka in Argentina.
