We all sin. God is just. the payment of sin is death and hell We cant go to heaven for doing good. just like in court, if you rob, the judge wont let you go free, If you give the money to charity, or if you say sorry, you’re not in court for your good but for ur crimes. God is similar in the sense of justice for every sin, but God loves us so much that he became man(Jesus), lived a sinless life, tho He was tempted. And He willingly took the punishment we deserve, He died the death of a criminal, even tho Hes innocent. Then he rose from the dead, proving he is who he says he is and giving us hope that we can have eternal life through him As a free gift that we accept by faith. That doesn’t mean we could go on in sin. If we’re truly saved God gives us his Holy Spirit and changes us, making us new and we will start doing good bc we love God
