Die Orakel long time collaborator @edward gracefully reappears with a three track emission called Time Stretch. Edward’s appliance of the titular technique is not restricted to various sonic elements at all, as it extends to the tracks’ mental notes and their trajectories beyond the digital realm. 

Time Stretch fills the entire side A with vibrant sonic elements, a warm bassline along an eerie pad, all on top of a straight and punchy bass drum. La Grotta’s signature melody, plus chirps and cowbells, inject a slight touch of exotica to the musical meta-data, while time stretch artefacts refer back to a befittingly themed EP. Finally, the undercurrents of Black Sea evolve along a modulated melodic pad, a pulsating bass and beat structure, and a light 90s IDM morse figure on top of frequency sweeps.

Born with a vision to showcase the talented producers on the island of Ibiza, MATE LTD propelled onto the vinyl circuit last year with a well received EP from Toni Moreno and Jacobo Saavedra, featuring remixes by Alexis Cabrera and Dave Hang. Remmah returns to the homeland of label founder Rory Hamilton aka Hammer, for its ninth release, which welcomes another Ireland-based act to the label roster.

Dave Lievense and Stephen Porter had spent years honing hard-won reputations for quality on their own projects before linking up to form Opus Klien, with Lievense best known as one half of Hotflush, Planet E and Cocoon-affiliated outfit Psycatron, and Porter building one of Ireland's most highly regarded events series, Jika Jika!

Having made a mark with a pair of remixes and a run of thunderous live performances, including regular appearances at The Warehouse Project and dates supporting Daniel Avery and Dense & Pika, the Aeronautic EP finds the Irish duo's debut EP mining both their shared acid house and bleep techno influences, and the electronic pop & avant garde music of their youth.

The resultant four tracks ride waves of euphoria and intensity that made them a perfect fit for the cosmic techno/italo/acid-infused sound Hammer has established in his curation of the label so far - making an appearance himself with his own sharp & to-the-point reshaping of Monsters.

Hi guys. 
Over the past 3 months I've been able to work in the studio and create new ep. 
I will share with you the technical points that arise on the way to pure creativity and the ability to create music.
The infrastructure of our country is very damaged by the daily rocket attacks, there is no electricity on average 8-10 hours a day, the Internet does not always work because of the weak batteries that power the towers. So we have to work in Spartan conditions. 

For a general understanding of the creation of the track is more of a freeride, descents and ascents. It is impossible to plan or allocate a certain number of hours that it will take to find an idea and bring it to life. Sometimes such a descent can be very fast and abrupt, and literally in half a day you can form the basic idea and shape it into a more or less decent sound.
But with a steady power outage, the whole meditative form and state of immersion is completely absent. You just start swinging as the lights go out and all the vibration is gone.
There is a huge benefit to this - it is the ultimate concentration and optimization of all processes. In a way, it's a great skill! But creativity doesn't tolerate haste, it requires deep immersion, lightness and freedom in action.
So we have 4 hours to rush into production and create as much as possible. But after that comes 4 hours of total silence and inability to do anything. 
Nothing lasts forever, and one day it will end, or at least take on a new form. 
I decided to write this message to myself and read it in the near future to remember what I've learned in the intervening period of time and what point in my life's journey I've arrived at.
In the meantime, I present to you a new EP entitled "Holotype".
Holotype - is a single physical example of an organism, known to have been used when the species was formally described. It is either the single such physical example or one of several examples, but explicitly designated as the holotype.

Rising star Kuo Climax’s EP on Emerald City entitled ‘Tomorrow’ features two profound originals with a stellar remix from fellow Spanish artist Dennis Cruz.
 
“In my childhood living with my parents we always listened to Hip Hop and R&B,’ said Kuo Climax of the EP. ‘I have attempted to mix these influences using my early memories as inspiration and I’m so pleased to see it finally released on Emerald City.”
 
Kuo Climax aka Felipe Jimenez Gálvez hails from Malaga in Spain, where starting out he quickly turned his event series at Pier 4 into a regular roadblock before using the shows as a platform to launch his own DJ career. Now going from strength to strength as an artist in his own right, Kuo has a stacked release schedule going well into 2017 and a touring calendar that spans Europe’s biggest clubbing destinations.
 
Madrid native Dennis Cruz made his debut in 2010 and has since made a name for himself as one of the most talented Spanish artists leading the way today, gaining an army of supporters including Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, Nicole Maudaber and Timo Maas to name a few. For his remix of ‘Tomorrow’ he dominates the dance floor with heavy rolling percussion, utilising the luscious vocals cuts to add that sensual touch.

Düsseldorf’s finest Jan Schulte makes his Dekmantel debut with Peace Moves, an EP of percussive soul, that captures the Salon Des Amateurs resident in full, tribal swing. Four tracks of informed, well-paced grooves, and finely crafted beats that extenuate the German’s penchant for the mature, and fun loving heads. 

It’s 2017, and finally Dekmantel have released music by the almighty percussion master Jan Schulte. The handsome German is indeed selective with the music he releases, making this a fine catch for the Dutch label. A tastemaker, and architect behind some of today’s premium records, Schulte’s hit-making record to date is without question. Whether he’s recording as Wolf Müller or Bufiman, or teaming up with Young Marco as Young Wolf, Schulte has fine-tuned the knack of channeling his profoundly deep record collection through his sentimental, and buoyant music. 

“This EP is a pretty accurate conclusion of the vision behind all the music I produced as Bufiman,” Schulte states. “It contains heavy but positive rhythmic dance tracks that combine all my musical influences, along with the right amount of humour.” 

Peace Moves encapsulates where Bufiman currently sits as an artist, taking on board influences such as Mantronix, Rick James, Style Wars, Wild Life, and Adventure Time with Finn and Jake (of course). The title track is packed with funk, and melody, with some deep strings and Casio magic. It’s the kind of record you can already hear being played on the Selectors stage in the Amsterdamse Bos, on a sprightly summer day, with the sunlight breaking through the trees. On the remix is Dj Normal 4, reimagining the beats in early 90s, old-school fashion. Schulte also drops the Pulse Mix, a 110 bpm alternative, techno version of the title track. The EP concludes with ‘Graffiti Moves’, a psychedelic crash of twisted funk, conjured out of the fine-looking German’s well-honed MPC. 

As part of the legion of new-wave connoisseurs from the heart of Düsseldorf, and the collective that is Themes for Great Cities, Schulte’s avant garde tastes, and dedication to adventurous dance music is expertly captured on the new Dekmantel record. Following on from Schulte’s 2015 Dekmantel podcast – a mix of unyielding, far-out music - Peace Moves is all about Bufiman; ‘positivity, friendship, really good humour, cartoons, and straight up dance.’
