On the eve of a new decade, Marsh opened the main stage at The Cityfox Odyssey NYE & NYD 2020 soaring into the new decade with unreleased music on the blindingly bright horizon of New Year's Day. Backed by the likes of Joris Voorn, Kölsch and Phil Taggart at BBC Radio 1, Marsh continues to tell his story of healing and inner peace through his enchantingly deep and progressive sound. Marsh - LIVE at The Cityfox Odyssey (NYE & NYD 2020)

While it's been relatively quiet on the DJ gig front during this period of COVID quarantine, I have been fortunate in doing a pair of livestreams with my home away from home, Spybar Chicago. I recently did a 4+ hour set there where I had all night, from start to finish, to weave a musical tapestry and tell a story of my choosing. I have been wanting to do a historical tribute set that touches on some different times in my life as a fan of this music and different stages of my DJ career and artist evolution. While impossible to play every song that has made an impact on me in 20+ years of experience as a DJ and even longer as a devoted fan of the music, I compiled a big arsenal of songs that I felt would work well together, and just attempted to play as many of them as I could, while still keeping to an upward trajectory and a cohesive story. It was a bit of a journey for me to play this one, and I'm really happy with how it came together. This set includes music dating back to 1992 or even earlier, and includes landmark music for me from then to current day. This is part two - the second half of this journey (hours 3 and 4)-- the conclusion of this musical odyssey!

With nearly 25 years of DJ experience and tirelessly pursuing the perfect mix of deep, progressive, techno, and house sounds.  He rocks venues ranging from intimate to huge, and can go from being the headliner himself to being the supporting act of choice for countless global headliners on the best club and festival events the Windy City has to offer.  RJ is also a principal collaborator in a recently-launched and acclaimed music act called Portals & Parachutes, taking first flight in post-pandemic 2021.
