Laid back "elevator music" for Jono Shields' game on Game Boy Advance, an entry for the GBA Winter Jam '21.

Optimized/mixed for headphones on GBA. Recorded (.WAV writer) from Schism Tracker since my Game Boy Advance SP doesn't have an audio output and the audio adapter generates too much background noise for recording.

A very rushed work (6 game jam tunes and a bunch of graphics and animation in 2 weeks) which shows in some places. But this is the version that got into the game before the deadline. Maybe a better version someday.

Tomoa, a low rank adventurer, journeys to a far off village left in ruin. A beast of unknowable stength has destroyed the village, and he's left to look for survivors... Little does he know that the only survivor, a lone baby boy, would be the cause of all the destruction...

Tomoa and the Beast is a 2D Action/Puzzle Platformer, and this album is a fake OST made for the July 2022 OST Composing Jam, composed of 5 songs describing the events Tomoa encounters.
[ Track Descriptions ]
1) A Village In Ruin --- The opening cutscene, where Tomoa finds himself in the ruined village looking for survivors. He finds only a baby boy with glowing yellow eyes...
2) Escape Through The Forest --- Tomoa and the baby trek through the forest back to civilization.
3) Dusk Parade --- Nighttime begins to fall, and Tomoa looks for resources to set up camp, leaving the baby alone...
4) Unforgiving Therianthropy --- Tomoa returns to the campsite... only to find that the baby is transforming into a beast! Fight the root of the danger, Tomoa!
5) Return --- After a bloody battle, a shaken Tomoa returns back to the city... Alive, but empty handed... and with terrible news.
6) Tomoa and the Beast OST Medley --- A back-to-back version where all the songs play in order!
