Asteroid * α is

· a fragment from a live, unprocessed and 'potentially hazardous improvisation' created through the manipulation of a complex feedback patch on a KORG MS-20 mini and some effect pedals.

· inspired by my fascination with the raw, aggressive sounds captured by space telescopes during different NASA missions.

Cette pièce évoque différentes géographies et écosystèmes observées sur une planète lointaine.  A travers un jeu de textures, de résonances et de son ciselés se dévoilent la faune, la flore, ainsi que les émanations étranges, gazeuses d’un environnement en métamorphose.

Momentum Remixes brings together a series of reinterpretations that explore different perspectives on the original album. These remixes pick up on key elements hypnotic synth lines, distinctive stab sounds, 909 driven percussion and rework them into varied directions.

The focus lies on functional, club oriented productions that still leave space for atmosphere and depth. The release spans from stripped back, groove driven tracks to more forceful, hypnotic versions, creating a tension between control and emotion. The final track brings the journey to a close with a melodic, emotionally rich piece that softens the intensity and adds a reflective,
almost cinematic quality rounding off the release with subtlety and warmth.

Soundwelten" (https://www.zem.de/assets/files/sh2025.pdf) on October 18, 2025 in the Steinhalle Emmendingen. I was unable to attend for personal reasons, which is why I produced this piece in advance.

theme of self generating ambient patch (used in the cheesy tune below)

mostly Serge VCS, DUSG and 1973 Envelepe Generators used as EG's, various oscillators, VC timings for the Envelopes and switching between different divisons for clocking... and yes, the birds actually don't fly, they're just voltage controlled panned form left to right and vice versa
