The debut EP „Inch“ by Betweenness (@betweenness ) aka Jörgen Gustafsson from Jönköping (Sweden) delights us with fantastic synthesizer music that could be taken straight out of the movie Blade Runner.

In his colorful compositions, he combines fuzzy and warm textures with lyrical melodies and contemporary chord changes, still yet in a steady motion. The result is a contemplative and delicate Ambient / Electronica EP, perfect for your coming space trip to Saturn. 

In his captivating remix of „Agren“, Sau Poler ( @sau-poler ) re-directs our space trip to Detroit and creates a dreamy uptempo House version including a syncopated marching snare drum and funky Hi-Hats.

The creation process of this track was performed and recorded live at @ WIP Creative Space (Moscow)


The musical foundation of this track was built with organic audio material such as field recordings and radio emissions of “Cassini” voyager, processed by multi-band processors and modular synthesizers to open a window into the vast subconscious world of micro and macrocosm.


Artwork "Arch of Imagination” was created by Visual Artist @ Kirill Abramov in real time during live performance in Moscow, while the artist himself was being in New York.

MUSIC FOR PEACEMAKERS: UNIVERSAL LOVE - HAVE A HEART FOR PEACE

This release grew organically from an afternoon jam session at Johan's house in Berkeley, CA in June 2016. The basis for Loqui was recorded that day. Inspired by the energy of our first session, we went on to record and produce the rest of the EP by meeting on weekends and evenings to work around the schedule of our full-time jobs. Solis was the last track to take shape, and illustrates all of what we learn in the process of working together, as well as the close friendship that has developed between us. 

This self-titled EP is a first attempt at taking the listener on a reflective journey. We are incredibly excited to continue this adventure through new releases and live performances in 2017.
