Their energetic, inventive sets have taken the duo around the globe, and their original productions are spun by the likes of A-Trak, Diplo, Annie Mac and more. Yet even veterans are able to surprise, and Smalltown's latest, "See Thru," is a true revelation of a tune. This hybrid jam, built around the soulful vocals of Lisa Lobsinger (Broken Social Scene), manages to feel equally at home slamming a club's main floor or anchoring an after party playlist. Is it nu-disco? Moombahton? EDM indie rock? (And where do the bugged out remixes from Thugli and Astronomar & Wuki fit?) All we know is that you won't hear songs like these anywhere else, making them perfect additions to the Fool's Gold Clubhouse.
