The Berlin based disco new wave band SHE LIES comes up with their third EP release this summer. They started in 2014 on Astro Lab including a fantastic asphodells (Andrew Weatherall) Remix of their track "Needed You".
The new release in September "Everything" contains 3 new Tracks inbetween disco, post-punk, syntwave and indie. 
Their rythms are deeply maniac, proceeding into synth driven krautwave monsters, adjusted with catchy girl vocals with a post-punk / new wave feel. 
The opener "Everything" uses expressive synth patterns and New Order like string sounds within dreamy drum machine patterns. "Alone Again" is an uptempo dance track with staccato robotic synth lines and an immersive beat. At the end comes "My Disco" describing a personal end of disco times with an ongoing synth arppegiator and a Kraftwerk influenced melody line.
This is their third EP recording on Exlove records, the new label run by the guys from REWORK (Playhouse, My Favorite Robot, Exlove)

[PREMIERE] She Lies - Everything  [Exlove Rec]

From the physical ltd edition of the new album "Razmišljajmo o nečem drugom" (Let's Think About Something Else"), cat. number: 46/1, out now.

With the title translating as "Emotional Discharge", the song is a translated cover adaptation of Bill Nelson's cult classic "Banal" he originally wrote and released back in 1981. 

A different cover adaptation of the song exists, which previously appeared on several early giveaway promos between 2015-16. This one is a newly recorded version especially for this album. With special thanks to Jon and Bill Nelson for his kind consent that this cover adaptation be used.
