Let You Go x Untouchable [BRTHRS Remix]

when rl grime dropped nova last summer, i had 'atoms' on repeat for almost 2 weeks. it was such a beautiful song and i knew i wanted to use it with something. and as soon as jai wolf came out with 'around the world' on his new album, i knew i had to put these two together. plus sad machine bc what mix would be complete without some porter?

Around this time last year, I put out my first Illenium remix, so it seemed appropriate that it was time for another one. I tried doing things a little differently this time and it honestly has to be my most favorite thing I've ever uploaded.

Like many other people right now, I also have loved ones who are currently working in the medical field trying to fight this pandemic right now. They are the ones working 24/7 to keep our communities safe, healthy, and functioning... the fact that I had the opportunity to participate in a charity stream is beyond humbling. I'm grateful to say that we as a collective raised over $9000 towards the Dollar Challenge, a donation drive by Modern Enlightenment to procure vital PPEs for our healthcare workers. In total, the Dollar Challenge has so far raised about $26,000 towards this effort, with 8,000 masks already delivered to several LA hospitals and another 20,000 on the way!

Access to PPEs is essential to keeping OUR healthcare workers safe, and I'm so proud and thankful to have been part of an effort to help ensure that. I'm really hoping this makes a big impact, and that we also have future events continuing this effort. Thank you to LPDT, modern enlightment, and BTO Collective for coordinating CYBERFEST and the donation drive.

This is just beginning of the fight to keep our communities safe and healthy. Let's keep each other safe, stay home, wash your hands, and stand in solidarity with ALL frontline workers!! Also please do not go to the beach... or inject lysol lol

I played this mix for Pastel's Summer Nights digital stream to raise money for Feeding America and Reclaim The Block. This is a special one for me because working on this set was very cathartic in the midst of everything that's been going on. I channeled a lot of the sadness I've been feeling lately during these times where so many people are suffering... but this mix also expresses some of my hopefulness that things will get better... that people are finally standing up together and refusing to let these injustices go on any longer.

Reclaim The Block is an organization from Minneapolis that advocates for city funds to be allocated towards things that actually make the community healthier and safer instead of more and more police. If you'd like to donate go here:
