Following his remix for Max Cooper, Mattr’s next releases are two electronica / breaks tracks on his own imprint Loft & Sound. With these two records Mattr continues to build out his crafted approach to electronica with two intricately layered and textural records. Tal features syncopated melodies, heavy bass and melancholic pads. Rand fuses granular synthesis and found sounds with delicate instrumental flutters to create an optimistic and atmospheric record.

Fred Again.. released Turn On The Lights again.. last year with Swedish House Mafia. When that song came out, I was just amazed. This song is a pure banger and it directly inspired me to make a remix. Here it is, hope you enjoy!

This EP is in fact a reflection on our state of mind of a turbulent year '22 for us. Some tracks refer to finding new courage and hope while others express the longing for long-lost loves. The record turned out in the style it did because we think this sounds best matches our experiences. 
The mix of house, Italo, with references to early trance and electro creates a hybrid that best fulfills this task. In a parallel universe, this record might as well have been pastoral or classical music because of its charged themes. However, we want to break through the melancholy with an upbeat groove that is contagious and takes you on a bittersweet trip
