Hidden Behind Every Scene

Oh Lord I come to know You. To see You face to face.
To hear Your voice so clearly, to feel Your warm embrace.
Have mercy Lord to heal me! I've been blinded by this age.
All self effort and ambition be thoroughly washed away!

Wretched man that I am! How can I be for Thee?
My flesh and my heart faileth, backsliding constantly.
Keep me instantly turning, coming forward to Thy feet.
Not a drop do I deserve, yet again You're flooding me!

     Who are You, Lord Jesus?
     What made You love me?
     Who are You, to make my inward parts spring?
