fallen star was aye 
no lies told 
broken mold 
old soul 
running rampid amongst the rabid 
who yearned for a life so lavish 
gems  and steel brandished 
swimming upon a sea of concrete languish
rock stones 
the only known way to manage 
outside, no guide 
riding off instinct 
hightend by stressful things 
emotions unchecked 
trauma unchecked  
shielding these weaknesses 
with bravado and badmind 
entertaining the other lost souls 
also 
trying to survive by evil means 
who would  congregate and surround  upon evil grounds with fake smiles 
treating the streets like 
roman colessiums 
Bloodthirsty 
Subconsciously hoping to see another face defeat 
But dem a gwan like bredrin 
Dapping and skinning teet
no lies told 
by the aye 
no friends in the fold 
mans soft like gold 
loyally just as rare 
unaware today's price will be paid tomorrow 
physical fiat cashed out in 
pain anguish and 
absolute sorrow 
broken souls coming to collect 
in the form of karma
unable to recollect 
for the fast lane in which they have been stuntin' 
did nothing but stunt
frontal lobes 
ignorant amongst those who know not the struggle 
no lies told 
unable to be controlled 
empowered by superficial riches gained deh pon road 
sold souls 
to gain a desensitized mind
so that evils  can be emotionalized as a means to survive 
on the back of gifted souls like aye 
who nearly succumbed to the beast 
who became blanketed in the darkness 
one with the concrete 
who maneuvered with pride 
stared in the face of defeat 
no lies told 
a light so bright 
even the night could not beleive 
there was such power
In such a lost entity 
And 
They 
Them 
Who I once emotionalized as kin 
Knew not the definition of the word 
No lies told 
The realization had my line blurred 
Shifting mentally into spectrums they never seen or heard 
Achieving impossible possibilities 
Speaking positive words 
With no lies told 
I can never forget the fold 
Dem hot nights out in the cold 
With my enemy deh side Ah mi
Spewing mindless fuckry deceptively disguised 
Secretly plotting my demise 
No lies told by the aye 
No embellished lines 
Str8 truths 
For I survived 
Now I see 
They

In spots they had designed for the aye

A rush of satisfaction fills the mind 
That morphs into a humility 
Battling pity 
For I will never allow myself to ever forget
