This set isn’t for the faint hearted! It’s the darkest set I have done, technically quite a hard one, it grabs u by the balls and takes you on a pretty dark journey deep deep underground! …....... 💣🔥🖤

The clack clack of cogs spin awkwardly and disjointedly through dismantled machine carcasses and the darkness is beginning to envelop me as the last shards of light cascade and repeat through endless reflections on broken glass. The city which once was bustling and bright is now turned to rust and dust. In the distance the sound of a car alarm animates in a pitiful cry, almost as if screaming its last pleas for help. History has taught me that what used to be false hope at the sound is nothing more than the circuits starting and stopping due to the rain filtering through the decaying cabling. My hope has been replaced with hopelessness and complacency and the collapse of rubble and industrial structures are like hail storms of a forgotten time when the sky was clear, not replaced with chemical and ash from missiles and bombs that erupted months ago. Days are spent in the shadows and in the cavernous spaces underground. Down beneath the surface it the darkest place on earth. Every now again I resurface and I wonder if I was to be a particle of dust floating on the evening breeze would it give me an insight of far off lands and maybe I'd witness some sign of life? I miss the jukebox that played in the nightclub, those voices seem like a distance memory now. I waited until the last remnants of life played out of that sorry old machine and with the same force of energy that burst it into life, so in reverse in the end die the speed in which it gave life to its very last song.

For Don Padre, the love affair with electronic music began with a spark in 1994. Introduced to The Prodigy's "Music for the Jilted Generation" by a cousin in Bulgaria, the powerful sounds of "No Good" and "Voodoo People" ignited a passion that he describes as a burning sensation that continues to fuel his creative drive. This formative experience built upon an earlier appreciation for the electronic artistry of Jean-Michel Jarre. The late 90s saw Don Padre living in Bulgaria, deeply influenced by the German Techno movement, the legendary Westbam, and the unifying spirit of the Love Parade. It was also a golden era for Trance, with artists like Armin van Buuren and Tiësto shaping his musical landscape. This period saw the beginnings of his DJing journey, playing private rave parties. Immersed in the culture, he experienced the energy of Metropolis festival in Bulgaria (1999) and Mayday Poland (2003). After moving to London in 2004 and witnessing inspiring performances from his heroes, Don Padre channeled these experiences into honing his own DJ skills. Today, based in London, he crafts seamless sonic narratives through Techno, Trance, Tribal Afro Latin House, and Progressive House, available on SoundCloud, driven by the same burning passion ignited by that Prodigy cassette decades ago, with his sights set on London's club scene and international stages.
