Chiruka, a promising force in the underground progressive house scene from Sri Lanka, is set to unveil his debut EP, Battle Alarm, on our label.The EP, which embodies the darker, more introspective side of progressive house, will undoubtedly resonate with fans of the genre who seek more than just mainstream sound—offering instead an immersive auditory journey into a world of intricate textures and emotional intensity.The Battle Alarm EP consists of three meticulously crafted tracks, with the title track, Battle Alarm, leading the charge. The original composition is a masterclass in underground progressive house, building slowly with atmospheric pads, deep basslines, and an evolving rhythm that encapsulates the genres essence. In addition to the original track, the EP features two remixes that bring their own unique interpretations to the piece. Oreiente, a fellow Sri Lankan artist, reimagines the track with his own fusion of underground elements, adding rich, organic textures and subtle percussion that breathe new life into the original. His remix carries a sense of both mystery and movement, maintaining the hypnotic, introspective atmosphere while introducing fresh rhythmic patterns. The second remix, crafted by Oxyzone from Brazil, is a compelling transformation that propels the track into new territories. Oxyzones take adds a heavier, more club-oriented feel, blending powerful bass and intricate beats that create an energetic contrast to the originals darker tones. His remix reinterprets the track in a way that will undoubtedly ignite the dancefloor, while still staying true to the underground progressive house roots that define the EP.

For Don Padre, the love affair with electronic music began with a spark in 1994. Introduced to The Prodigy's "Music for the Jilted Generation" by a cousin in Bulgaria, the powerful sounds of "No Good" and "Voodoo People" ignited a passion that he describes as a burning sensation that continues to fuel his creative drive. This formative experience built upon an earlier appreciation for the electronic artistry of Jean-Michel Jarre. The late 90s saw Don Padre living in Bulgaria, deeply influenced by the German Techno movement, the legendary Westbam, and the unifying spirit of the Love Parade. It was also a golden era for Trance, with artists like Armin van Buuren and Tiësto shaping his musical landscape. This period saw the beginnings of his DJing journey, playing private rave parties. Immersed in the culture, he experienced the energy of Metropolis festival in Bulgaria (1999) and Mayday Poland (2003). After moving to London in 2004 and witnessing inspiring performances from his heroes, Don Padre channeled these experiences into honing his own DJ skills. Today, based in London, he crafts seamless sonic narratives through Techno, Trance, Tribal Afro Latin House, and Progressive House, available on SoundCloud, driven by the same burning passion ignited by that Prodigy cassette decades ago, with his sights set on London's club scene and international stages.
