This set darker than usual, but its honest. This is a painting of how I’ve been feeling lately. The past couple of months I’ve been going through weird times, for multiple reasons. I completely	stopped making/playing music. I became a little depressed. The death of a beautiful human i deeply loved, profound experience. But today I felt like creating something. For the first time in such a long time I feel like myself again. <3

About Roman Shazse:
Roman arrived in Paris about ten years ago with a musical background he inherited from his parents. His music blends a touch of jazz/funk with modern elements and pays homage to several generations of electronic influences.

After a long period as a DJ and an event organizer, he founded his own label called Mimesis in 2019. His universe is a theatrical black & white world, which showcases rising artists and delivers deep, dance floor music that strives to be original.

Today, he offers his services as a sound engineer and works on his next releases and in his recording studio, a beautiful cavern where synthesizers and rhythm boxes co-exist in harmony.

BIO

Sub Chunk, electronic music producers duo. Born and raised in Bogotá, the city that has witnessed how, for the last couple of years, they stand out for there unique taste in music, which can oscillate between, Deep House vibes, Progressive melodies and retro colors; sometimes has been classified as "unclassifiable", and some others simply as "Sub Chunk`s Sound".

Since their beginnings they decided to undertake the challenge: to create scenarios where the electronic music is delivered in a unique and versatile way. That`s why, the audience will definitely be a part not only of a progression of tracks, but a story along their DJ set or hybrid show, shows which they perform in different formats, sometimes using electric guitar, voices, synths or live percussion.

DEEMAS - Afro Lap [Tibetania Rituals]

For REC008, we have the honour of showcasing an exciting artist from Switzerland: Manuel Moreno. Manuel has been active in the scene for many years, with releases on labels such as Ritter Butzke, Amaeo, Hive Audio and Kamai Music. In addition to being an active resident at Hive for over ten years, he is well-known for creating iconic brands such as his event series 'Au Revoir' and co-owning the agency 'Send Return'.

His two-track EP 'Elysian' highlights his diverse range of sounds. The title track impresses with a steady groove, captivating chord stabs, and layered synths that demand attention — the perfect closing track for any set. 'Swedenborg', on the other hand, reveals his darker side. A hypnotic, rumbling foundation is elevated by the magnificent voice of Natasha Waters, resulting in a track that will shake dance floors.

To round out the release, two exciting producers join the Reconsider roster. For the main track, Predex, a promising producer from Istanbul, gives 'Elysian' a melodic yet groovy touch. 'Swedenborg' is reinterpreted by none other than James Harcourt, who transforms it into a dark, tribal dancefloor belter with his signature progressive sound.
