Journal Entry #2- Grief

A Tribute to Mister REY. The man who taught me to just do my thing and the person to show me how to make beats. A lot of this grief has been handled with care with people in the Bay Area community. I just want to send my utmost respect and best wishes to the family, friends, and everyone effected. All recordings of Rey were from an interview from a class I took at SFSU. He eventually helped me get a job at the same place I was interning and had always encouraged my music and community work. The part of things being "prayer" comes from a pamphlet given at the funeral services where it said "let your actions be prayer let your creations be prayer let your exchanges be prayer let your life be prayer and let all your prayer be powerful"

A MESSAGE TO REY: 
 Hey man I didn’t make these beats, but the idea of doing almost everything myself for the sake of skill or helping others has been the backbone to my most recent songs and I appreciate you man. I hope you’d bump this song if you could listen to it with me.
