WARNING  The Second verse word "RAPED" sounds as RAPE on THIS Digital Audio Workstation recording   NOT HOW I SANG IT-(after 20 hr days learning daws frohm ) ...  TOTALLY  Incorrect ... I DO NOT sing rape!   I sing the precise wording of "GIFT OF SELF IS  RAPED"  Alice In Chains song "Nutshell"done *Just as Guitar,and Voice* 1 Take only of each ,after singing along to The*MTV Unplugged*Version in the car( left channel only worked on the car stereo!)So without Mike Inez's signature Bassline,and Sean Kinney's drums,and rehearsing   really ONLY 3 times per week for a few years(never could sing at all before-I would go into the most uncontrollable coughing/sneezing fit like seizures until after 2 1/2 years of being forced to pull over,but I kept at it as I was so SICK and PISSED OFF at not being able to get any volume with my stupid weeny voice so honestly yelling/screaming along to the MTV Unplugged version only with utterly mesmeric way way beyond description LAYNE STALEY regardless of how his performance ON THAT 1996 gig was JUDGED(who the fuck are they to judge a guy,with a golden,utterly stellar Blues/Minor key passionate tone and charisma like that?)from 2006 to a bit of a break-screaming losing my voice for days at a time,He,by me obsessively pushing taught me,and my stupid throat/vocal cords to utter more than previously a piss ant whisper,very long time very hard work(though I'm not a sound engineer)but THAT is the reason,that it is **NOT like the Jar Of Flies version AT ALL**, and is very different,but this song REALLY hit me real hard,after first hearing it in February 1994,so that's why I attempted to do my version eventually,but yeah I could explain further,BUT NO  : I
