roadside were formed in their current state in 2009 after the members had all had a fairly successful time in various other projects, forming to become the local "supergroup" for writing original songs, in their own unique style.
The band have steadily built a strong following across the Southwest of England, and have continued in 2015 where they left off in 2014, by growing their fan base and continuing to write music "for the modern music lover", and expanding the fan base throughout the UK. living in Plymouth is not easy for the lads, but the dedication and commitment required to grow the roadside brand continues, with the band performing a great live set, in gigs, venues and festivals across the UK. 2015 is going to be an exciting year for roadside, with the launch of their album "I don't know what it is but..." in the Summer of 2015. The singles "disarm" and "give it up" have already received some critical acclaim, and with further singles "The great Unknown" and "Look at me" following afterwards, this should be the time that roadside really start to make an impact. The band have been working hard on the visual and sonic impact and have released or are working on music video's for each of the singles, whilst continuing their work on "roadside tv" their own behind the scenes TV show that comes out every month.
