DNZ ist ein Urgestein der Dresdner DJ-Szene. Seit Anfang der 90er Jahre aktiv, hat er dabei von Techno bis Funk und von Hip Hop bis Jungle schon alle möglichen Genres erkundet und sich völlig zu Recht einen Ruf als wandelndes Musiklexikon und passionierter Plattensammler erspielt. Zugegebenermaßen haben hier sicher auch 20 Jahre Arbeit im eigenen Plattenladen Fat Fenders einiges Fachwissen hinterlassen.

Seinen Sets hört man diesen Hintergrund deutlich an - nie auf einen Stil festgelegt und immer mit unbekannten oder seltenen Perlen garniert, egal ob bei Solo-Gigs oder im Team mit der Funky Monkey Gäng. Mit großer Begeisterung und viel Herz für Musik vorgetragen, hat sich dieser Beat-Tausendsassa in den letzten 30 Jahren eine treue Fanbase erspielt und die elektronische Musiklandschaft Dresdens auch ein Stück weit geprägt. Wir freuen und ihn hier mit einem kurzweiligen und gewohnt abwechslungsreichen Set am Start zu haben.

Rick Silver & James Vernon’s fairly young but highly promising label has been releasing the highest standard of stripped back and stylish, dubbed-out sonics and have carved out a little section for themselves in the electronic music scene after honing a dynamic and appealing production style. Previous releases from the two label bosses and enigmatic artist Yallahs have captured the attention from various established names and they continue to show their flair for all things raw and exciting on their ‘Stories, Chapter One’ release.

Rick Silver delivers his ‘My Corona’ next as the hypnotic deepness pulsates wonderfully in harmony with the organic percussion and delicate melodies.

The final flourish of a personal project that’s been years in the making. Chairmaker’s Three Songs for Winter reaches a bold conclusion, conjuring guitars that dance, voices who whisper, and drums that march out from the misted veil.   

With each prior EP tapping into the aesthetics and emotions of their respective seasons: Spring, Summer and Autumn. Three Songs for Winter describes the darkest, and most volatile season for many, yet also one steeped in ancient folklore and ethereal majesty.

From the stormy ascent out of droning melancholia on The Fall; to the crisp coldness and shrouded incantations of The Waves; and on to the fuzzy decay and coalescing melodies of The End. All have been influenced by a love of psychedelia and prog-rock genres, while also drawing on trip-hop percussion and FX beats more typically found in leftfield club sounds.

Although bound by the narrative thread of Winter, each track stands alone with a distinct tale to tell. The listener invited to imagine their own place in the great tidal workings of our world, and the realities that might exist beyond it.

The project first emerged out of electric guitar sketches made in an opiated state - the fallout of an unfortunate Summertime accident - where a room in which to recover quickly became a DIY music studio. The result is a measured, immersive experience. A record that’s had time and perspective to expand organically. A cauldron of sketches and live jams moulded through arpeggiated percussion, hours of DAW processing, and a mind that’s had the space to wander/wonder.

Featuring the vocal talents of Trinidadian born/Bristol-based Coreysan, Chinese-born/London-based Fifi Rong and rising soul singer Yazmyn Hendrix, producer Jez Lloyd weaves in and out of various styles of modern, song-based ambient, electronic/soul, future dub, broken beat, leftfield pop, electro, down-tempo and outernational/world music.

Roam is a Canadian electronic musician, record producer & songwriter based out of Toronto, Canada.

He first gained notoriety in late 2017 for his production style; which is grounded in future garage, uk garage & 2-step garage but made distinct by his pop/hip-hop sensibilities. This approach combined with an understanding of how to convey deep emotions through atmosphere, melody & vocals results in vulnerable, narrative focused music that is fitting for introspective nights & reflective car rides as well as lounges & clubs.

Roam has solidified himself as a notable contributor to Canada's music landscape, being labeled not only as "The Producer Bringing Dark UK Garage to Toronto" & "Toronto's Future Garage Producer"  but also most recently being crowned as one of 8 musicians leading Canada's electronic music scene, a claim made by CBC in 2022.

Roam has received critical acclaim on all of his mainline projects (REMNANTS, DEPTHS, THE WRAITH) from outlets such as TheFader, Vice, Exclaim Magazine, Now Magazine & Resident Advisor & he has continued to expand & demonstrate the ever growing breadth of his musicianship; constantly evolving.
