Here's my long overdue latest edition to my Dark Soul mix series- volume 4 is a journey through deep, soulful liquid drum and bass. This was a cheeky freestyled set that I played on stream and liked so much that it's made the crossover from my stream recording archives onto my Soundcloud. For the new era of Chime I decided to bring it all back to where things started for me and music - "The Shed". I was very lucky to have access to this summer-house type deal at the bottom of my parents' garden for the period when I was about 14-18 and I made great use of it during that time. It became a respite where I could retreat from the world and work on projects from frankly terrible YouTube videos to early GarageBand-produced music and learning how to DJ.

But as I got to sixth form, The Shed took on its most legendary phase - that of "shed parties", which became hugely popular with my friend group at the time. A bunch of 17-18 year olds getting drunk in a format that's basically a house party without the need to trash some poor parents' house - all while I DJ the whole thing.

With my new era shining great importance on this period in my life and musical development I thought it would be utterly perfect to invite a bunch of those friends back for the first "shed party" in over 10 years, alongside new friends in and around the Leeds music scene to record this promo mix.
