Jumpstyle. Freestyle, Hardstyle, Happy Hardcore, Millennium Hardcore en Feestcore.

Zijn set is een “Bass der herkenning” met heel wat “ooh die plaat was ik helemaal vergeten!”-momentjes.

He began his musical journey in his childhood, experimenting with a PSX game called “Music 2000”. In the beginning of 2006 the name “Kurwastyle Project” was born, and he started to producing Speedcore influenced by artists like USN, Pain Alliance, Komprex or Passenger Of Shit.

In 2009 he released first full-lenght EP called “Das Ist Splitter” on his own underground netlabel “Splitterblast Records”. This successful debut garnered him attention in the scene, leading to live performances in Germany and Poland.

After 2 years of producing pause he returned in 2013, and started to learn FL Studio. The same year, he dropped vinyl “Evil Motherfucker EP” on Darkspell Records, that contained some of his best old Speedcore works.

Teaming up with Japanese artist “DJKurara,” he founded “KyokudoCore Records,” a label focusing on J-Core music. Due to fast learning and increased skills, in February 2014 he released there a CD Album called “Lost In Society”.


In 2015 he started producing Terror and achieved notable success with the EP “Fight To Survive” on Noisekick Records. His exploration into Uptempo Hardcore began, leading to releases on various labels, including Darkside Unleashed, Bounce Back, Footworxx, Fucking Bastards, The Third Movement, or his imprint “Sharp As A Knife Records.”

In 2021 he joined a one of the best agencies in the scene – Rige Bookings. And in 2023, he marked another milestone with the release of “The Rave Spirit EP” on Megarave Records.

However, due to the disappointment of current Uptempo sound and direction which he doesn’t like anymore, he returns back to his Terror roots, with release on This Is Terror Records.

Until now he played on the several parties in Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Austria, Spain, UK, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia or Lithuania.
Masters Of Hardcore, Ground Zero, Decibel, Harmony Of Hardcore, Pandemonium, Hellraiser, Pokke Herrie, Beats For Love, Terrordrang, are the events where he smashed the dancefloor with his hard and unique sound already.

74 tracks that made history, carefully re-equalized and mixed in a unique way, in order to provide you with the most incredible Early Uptempo set you will ever hear.

DISCLAIMERS: The set was designed to follow a BPM/chromatic progression. I deliberately included tracks that are not Uptempo, AT ALL, just because artists like me, Partyraiser, and other top artists used to play them during that time,  So, they belong to our scene even if they don't, therefore please avoid any possible STUPID comments.

KROEFOE VS VATO

Frank de Kruijff, better known as @kroefoe_official , is a Dutch uptempo hardcore DJ and producer from Waddinxveen. His stage name is derived from his last name. Since the rise of the uptempo genre in 2017/2018, he has been active in the hardcore scene. With his energetic style and captivating stage presence, he engages listeners with powerful beats and infectious melodies.

Kroefoe has performed at various festivals, including WiSH Outdoor 2024. He is also affiliated with BKJN Future, a label focused on emerging hardcore artists.

On his SoundCloud page, Kroefoe regularly shares new music and mixtapes. One example is Geeft Hem Weg 8.0, a 32-minute mix that has been well received by his fans. His online presence has earned him a growing following, with over 3,500 followers on SoundCloud.

Jay Catsman, better known as Dj Vato, is a Dutch uptempo hardcore DJ and producer. His passion for hardcore started at the age of eight, eventually leading to an in-depth knowledge of the genre. Two years ago, he began performing himself and learned the craft of DJing. He has collaborated with artists such as Tharoza, Spitnoise, Sjammienators, and Mindspitter.

His podcast Uptempo Nixtape became a phenomenon, and his second collaboration with Sjammienators, titled Superman, reached the 87th spot in the MOH Top 100 of 2018.

On his SoundCloud page, Vato regularly shares new music and mixtapes, including Eigen Huis & Puin Set (2024) and Uptempo Nixtape XI - Vato invites Invidia.

With his energetic style and dedication to uptempo hardcore, Vato continues to develop his musical career and expand his influence within the hardcore community.
