Dive into the gritty streets and rich musical heritage of Queensbridge with 'A Queens Mind.' This transatlantic collaboration pays homage to the legacy of Queensbridge rap, featuring Big Noyd, Big Twins of Infamous Mobb, Blaq Poet, and Comet MadMen from Screwball, as they skillfully weave stories of triumph and struggle. The pumping yet heartfelt instrumental groundwork was produced by Berlin Kreuzberg resident Robosonic with Jan Weigel, while Rob Lange has overseen the whole creation, bringing together all the talent involved and presenting it on his 4PAWS imprint as a team effort.

“Induratize” (https://fanlink.to/Induratize) is a one take song about a typically disordered, modern times relationship. It’s a picture of long time dumbed feelings and confused personalities bound in useless fights and wasted emotions. It portraits two people who neither accept nor respect the other’s beliefs and decisions.

It's about hardened heart, resistant to the original idea of love. 
 
The song features a heavy threaded groove, a mystical combo of dark synth lines and clean, icy vocals. The lyrics are written unconventionally, frameless, genderless and abstract, in Kristina Sheli’s characteristic style.

“Induratize” is the first independent release on 4PAWS Records (Cat. No. 4P-001).

This mix is a homage to all producers who bring back the organic Afro & Soul elements in their house productions. The whole track selection got inspired by Nas & Damian Marley’s collaboration track „Africa must wake up“ (https://vimeo.com/13154501). It is dedicated to the motherland, a continent which is suppressed for centuries, and need the strength to rid themselves of the bonds imposed by others, or in the words of Nas:  

Africa must wake up
The sleeping sons of Jacob
For what tomorrow may bring
May a better day come
Yesterday we were Kings
Can you tell me young ones
Who are we today, yeah now
The black oasis
Ancient Africa the sacred
Awaken the sleeping giant
