Still no new real "Post-Corona" club life in Germany! And so there is only one more recourse to one of the many 674.fm radio broadcasts hosted by Psycho Thrill Cologne. It doesn't always have to be the obvious "power-hour" peak-time tracks that make the sweat drip from the club's ceiling. In his mix for the NACHTAKTIV collective in Cologne, Claus Bachor deliberately uses the category of tracks that DJs and vinyl nerds often only discovered for themselves at the second attempt and then made a club hit. 

Trackwerk that is no less hypnotic and just as natural at the end of the day, mesmerizing and hypnotizing every dancer and continue to do so. Nor should it go unmentioned that all of these tracks played here had and still have their not insignificant impact on Cologne/Rine area club life in the past as well as today. This applies in particular to clubs such as Ballhaus (Bonn), 42dp, Artheater, Kitt Klub, Sensor Club, Studio672/Stadtgarten and, subsequently, the Psycho Thrill BNKR (all Cologne) and, to this day, the GHM/Golzheim in Düsseldorf. 4 the rest of this story let that music do the "talkin'".

VFO89 is the Director & founder of Antipattern.Dpt label since 2019 and also co-founder of CTL : Collective which he has hosted events and played with for the past 10 years. His productions finely integrate IDM and Electro with acid and melodic sounds.

He has released EPs on labels such as KR records (France); EVEL Records (Spain) and 2 albums for Canadian label Chez Kito Kat Records. He has contributed to compilations for ELM Collective (UK) C12 (Brussels) & Music for Commercials (France) as well.

In his early djing years he was mainly Techno oriented and got to share decks with artists such as DVS1, Ben Sims or Luigi Tozzi.

Nowadays the spectrum got wider and he plays live sessions as well; inspired by the sound of raw Electro and Jungle subgenres, which reflect his passion for Electronic music in general.

Next in the series is an American talent hailing from Chicago now based in Berlin, KARL MEIER. His sound is excellent and eclectic and has long been one of the finest selectors around. For us he put together an astounding 2-hour studio mix spanning 60 tracks, sprinkled with seminal techno cuts dating back 25 years. Just a few weeks back, his new label 'Standards & Practices' (co-founded with Jon Krohn) came to life with a head-chopping Talker EP --their first output since the full length on Downwards in 2014. Forthcoming material on the label can be heard inside this tremendous 2 hour joyride through broken beats and wide-range, all-encompassing electronic goodness.
