Bio~ My Name is Rob Bates 

I grew up in North Jackson Mississippi 1973-1999 
I am the youngest of 5 older brothers Music has always been in my house since I was barely walking My Father was a master musician but semi pro instead of persuing Music he raised up and provided for his family When I was in 1st Grade I had. a strong desire to learn paino My Mom’s friend across the street from us older daughter had a nice paino she taught me a few chords and a few patterns I looked forward to going over there with my mom to learn more and play more my 1st grade teacher said she only taught 2nd Graders and to be honest what I remember she was a real battle axe 2nd Grade I ended up changing schools from private to pubic I went several years with no desire for music the passion died till I turned 14 by chance my mom got me my first guitar I played it all nite and Al day i still do to this day I started writing learning chords I was totally loved music my influences range at all styles from BB King to Eddie Van Halen Billy Gibbons Zakk Wylde or aven Bonnie Rait I love music it’s my life and it’s what I do living and breathing it
