Following the recent release of Pär Grindvik's (@grindvik)debut LP 'Isle of Real', Pär presents his 'Colours of Real' mix for Electronic Explorations.

"I've tried to capture some of the inspiration that I had for Isle of Real, selecting tracks from mostly the 90's which mean a great deal to who I am and which shaped the vibe of the LP, without choosing the most obvious ones. I hope that the listener enjoys it and discovers something from the era which they may have originally missed!"

The result is 60 minutes of dusty gems from the extensive shelves of producer and label manager Pär Grindvik, one who began his artistic career as the owner of a record store in Stockholm.

His production was also appreciated by Semantica Records, which resulted in the release of the track in the album in 2017. Collector of vinyl records and items with potential to generate music. In his work obsessed by the musical genres related to techno and deep minimal forms. Founder and curator of Why So Silent events which include Live electronic music and avant-garde Silent Movies. Co-founder of Fűnfte Strasse project, which includes a radio broadcast and recurring music events to promote techno and aelectronic music. Connected to The Gods Planet, Semantica, Silent Season, Phorma, Kontrafaktum.

Thomas Hessler is part of a promising new generation of Techno producers & DJ’s. Born in East Germany, Hessler’s inspirations are deeply rooted in his home city of Berlin. Growing up during the time of the wall’s fall and resulting changes for Germany itself, his approach to production intends to reflect feelings of change.

Within a short time Hessler played his way from small undergound clubs of Berlin all the way to various venues in Europe, South & North America. Earning his respect in clubs like Bassiani, Fabric, Berghain and Tresor is just proving that his approach towards Djing with energy, emotions, intensive journeys of techno and its recent history is the right way to go.

Thomas has worked tirelessly to develop his craft and prove what he stands for as an artist. With his energetic, driven techno and deep melancholic electronica, informed by classic Detroit and Berlin sound yet also exploring more experimental boundaries. His debut on Marcel Fengler’s IMF was the logical next step and his „Perception EP“ gained deserved recognition from a wealth of contemporary DJs, while his contribution to IMF 004’s various artists EP von praise from Resident Advisor as a psychedelically epic strain of techno.

„Push EP“ what Soundspace described as „Dangerous rhythmic with a cinematic twist“ is just another piece in his selective list of releases on labels like Bassiani, Crossing and Intimate Silence. His art inspired Laurent Garnier to select „Perception“ for the exhibition „Electro“ at the Philharmonie de Paris in 2019 while Luke Slater remixed it in 2018 on IMF. Several releases and other special Projects are lined up for 2019.

The way Thomas Hessler comprehends our fast-paced world is nostalgic but still with a glimmer of hope for the future. Always preferring quality over quantity in his productions, patience and perfectionism are two qualities he prized over all else.

One of the fastest growing electronic scenes in recent years is the Paraguayan scene. A movement that is handled with very old school vibes and with an audience hungry for quality, energy and freedom. Without ceasing to name the Argentine scene, Recorder Records was born within these two regions and steeped in expectations and a clear level of quality.

As a first release the label proposes a compilation of Various Artists with names like Anders (BR) from Brazil, Octavio from Paraguay, Russ (Arg), Juan Trujillo, Crown, Dangelo (Arg) from Argentina and Persohna from the UK. All with quality work and within a well-defined hypnotic aspect directed to the dance floor.

Alexander Kowalski is a German techno producer who elegantly fuses elements from classic Detroit. It all began in the early 90's in Berlin as Kowalski caught wind of the first techno releases that found their way over from Detroit and New York.
