FAWM 2023 song submission #2

Not sure where this one came from - other than I've been listening to LOW a lot, and had just built a nasty/noisy CMOS fuzz pedal. Was stumped for lyrics but had heard a quote I liked, so used that ad-nauseam :)

I've never performed this song live but recently discovered it on an old hard-drive so thought I'd upload it.

It's a sad song loosely following the timeline of my relationship with my Dad up to and beyond him taking his own life when I was fourteen years old.

Break Your Fall

Another song which made it onto the wonderful 'Shared' acoustic compilation album curated by Miles Hunt of The Wonder Stuff back in 2009.

My girlfriend at the time was considering moving to Australia. It would appear from the lyrics I took this prospect rather badly!
