Gurum Triads is a transatlantic guitar & drum duet album that explores multiple techniques (none of which involve playing guitar). London musician Dane Law uses a Max/MSP contraption of his own invention, which allows him to improvise in real time using samples of his acoustic guitar. Wisconsin-based producer/drummer Chants contributed cassette tapes of his drums & percussion to this process, and then took the resulting recordings and added additional layers of live drumming and self-sampled beats. The focus was never on the process itself but on the feeling and interplay of tactile textures, and on memories of shared post-rock touchstones.

Recorded between January 2022 - February 2023.

hello mr ohler is a compilation of six years work by Rick Ochoa, Robb Monn and Jacob Robinette (appearing on tracks 1-5, recorded under the name noumena.)

All the tracks on this recording are improvisations recorded live and produced without overdubs. These tracks were mastered by JDG at Panic Studios (we love you.)

Sadly Rick Ochoa passed away in June, 2014. We miss you, Rick, we miss your amazing sense of sound, your laughter and genius.
