Dave Dinger delighted us numerous times at our Schiffbruch parties with his extraordinarily impelling and sweeping sets that always comprise a funky and soulful attitude. Whenever he played in the early morning hours Dave always knew how to get the people dancing and fascinate them with his charming combination of Techno, Tech House and elements of world music.

Virtual Geisha’s debut is a sonic punch against apathy. After years of hypnotizing with emotionally charged DJ sets and visionary curatorship, she breaks through as a producer with a techno manifesto built to set the dancefloor on fire.

At its core pulses a searing monologue from Network (1976), as urgent now as it was four decades ago. Around it, Virtual Geisha builds a ritual of tension: hypnotic bongos, gritty textures, and a piano loop by Hania Derej, re-sampled and twisted into a melancholic vortex.

This is not escapist techno: it’s techno with teeth.
A groove that bites, demands movement and awareness, turning the floor into a space of resistance and catharsis.
