Anna Jahn (born in Dresden/Germany) is a DJ and producer inspired by electronic music. Growing up in Dresden's underground techno scene, she discovered her passion for music culture at the age of 17 and started organizing parties. In 1998, she took her first steps as a DJ with Goa on vinyl before developing into a versatile artist who creatively combines house, electro and techno. In her career, she founded a party crew, organized the "Ohrgasmus Festival" and co-founded the Triebwerk club in Dresden. As Plastique Violett, she played regularly in clubs such as Kilowatt and Hörsturz before taking a ten-year break. In 2024, she returned as Anna Jahn, further developed her style - melodic, percussive techno with influences from house and electro - and celebrated her debut at Bellini Mainz. She began producing her own music. Her first track “MOTIVATION” marks the beginning of a new creative phase. Performing under her real name, she remains an exciting artist with her energetic sets

Hello everyone, and welcome to the seventh episode of The Aural Code.
I’m Armin, also known as akabúho, and I’m honored to have you with me for one of the most meaningful episodes of this series so far.

Today, I’m thrilled to feature an artist whose music has deeply inspired me over the years: the exceptional Robert Babicz.

With a career spanning over three decades, Robert has played a pivotal role in shaping electronic music. Whether under his own name or aliases like Rob Acid, Sonictwister, and Acid Warrior, his work blends emotional depth with masterful production. His signature sound, warm, analog, and deeply human, has made a lasting impact on listeners and producers alike.

He’s released music on some of the scene’s most respected labels, including Kompakt, Bedrock, Systematic, and his own Babiczstyle. Beyond that, Robert is a true multi-disciplinary artist: producer, live performer, sound designer, and mastering engineer, constantly pushing the boundaries of electronic music.

To celebrate his presence on this episode, the show is divided into two parts:

It's been a long time since Rosa first showed up at our coldest Desert Hearts Festival to date as a wide-eyed 22 year old with little more than a T-Shirt, thinking he was in for a relaxing weekend in San Diego! But we've all witnessed Rosa's transformation into a world class producer as he steadily pumps out track after track of pure fire. Since the beginning of the label he's been one of our favorite producers and we couldn't be more stoked to release his 2nd EP on Desert Hearts Records
 
With this 4 track EP titled "Abu", we get to see the full spectrum of Michael's sound. From Minimal to Tech House to Funk & everything in between, there's something for everyone in this package. A new day, a new day, and a silver lining. Clawz SG returns to Steyoyoke to imprint his positive emotion on the ethereal sound. The Silver Lining EP is packed with four original compositions, each more bright than the last.

Title track 'Silver Lining' features dulcet tones over dark bass lines, ultimately conveying an aura of emotionality reflected in the manner Clawz SG has arranged his sounds. A stormy star on the apex of deep waters, Silver Lining is true to its own name.

'Emerge' features a composition of a more complex nature, tricking and teasing the mind as to the directional movement of the piece. A beauty in its own right, 'Emerge' emerges from this EP as a pheonix rises from ashes.

'Solace' grabs the listener by the ear and mind, grouping together deeper octaves in synthetic sounds, coupled with whims of a melodic rythm which push and pull the groove in opposing ways; yet this Solace remains united.

Lastly, 'Revive' takes its place as the closing track on this Silver Lining EP. The revival of love, sound, and harmony seeps through this tracks unique arrangement, coupled with Clawz SG's ability to produce unique sounds.

A Silver Lining around a golden cloud, this 'Silver Lining' EP is a strong reflection of a progress, adoration, and ethereal mood that Steyoyoke was built upon.
