Time has taught us all that life's not all puppies and rainbows, and my own journey has taught me much I'd never bargained on. Idealistic positivity is all well and good, but as I've come to terms with myself and those around me, I know now better than ever how moody, dark, unpredictable, and still beautiful, life can be.

This mix is indicative of my shift to a broader palette of moods, vibrations and emotions with which to paint my life, and those close to me. Darkness can be beautiful, if seen from a certain perspective.

Robbi Em’s ideal world would be a perpetual party from which they only take breaks to nap and create new music.  

With a background as a guitarist, producer and sound engineer, Robbi Em has been involved with thousands of live performances. They have a strong affinity for sound, but their real talent simply lies in knowing what’s good and when it’s good. Now, after a lengthy hiatus from performing, they intend to reinvent themselves with a focus on their unwavering love for syncopated hi-hats. 

While their style ideally consists of rolling bass lines and energetic percussion, it varies greatly depending on who’s listening. Their only goal as a DJ is to play the best of what their crowd is into. In short, Robbi Em is behind the decks to share a good time with whoever will show up to listen.
