Here's my band The Akalites, were i am lead guitarist and songwriter. This was a track where me and the MC (Rapper)were in the studio with the idea, I play all the instruments, and programed the strings. This features my vocal on the chorus.

GARTH- Robert Andrew Potter (born 17 May 1992) better known by his nickname "Garth", is and English musician and singer-songwriter. Best known for being the lead guitarist, singer and songwriter of the Urban-Rock group "The Akalites", with his fellow co-founder and song writing partner Kaos.

Heavily influenced by classic hard rock and heavy metal music of the 1970's and 1980's (particularly Queen, AC/DC, Def Leppard, Motley Crue and Guns n' Roses) and also by many other styles and genre's. With this it blends together to make and infused melting pot of musical styles, which makes Garth the eccentric and highly talented musician he is today.

This is especially obvious in his guitar playing, From raging power chord let riffs to piercing solo's these are often countered by soulful slide guitar playing or other emotionally-moving guitar melodies. It is this exotic cocktail of raw energy, melody, diverse influence and passion that is a treat to bestow upon the waste land of consumer pop of today’s music industry.
This is best demonstrated with his band The Akalites, of which he is co-founder and also half of the formidable song writing partnership of Garth and Kaos. Which in its essence is the creative backbone of the bands direct sound and drive? When questioned upon his working relationship and song writing partnership he said the following:
"...I think there will always be song writing partnerships, and I think when the two people meet and bounce ideas off each other, its special...if you know what I mean?. When I come up with a riff, or Kaos comes to me with an idea or chorus, the idea's just flow....and man of course arguments can happen, but that’s good, that’s a good thing, both trying to push forward the ideas and emotions within the track....like I might see something different in something he wrote, that's good. And the best ideas always wins (laughs).....yeah you follow in the footsteps of giants when you write songs, your own standards have to be high. You look up to the greats like McCartney and Lennon, Perry and Tyler, Elton John and Bernie Taupin, and man the gods that are Jagger and Richards...were all just story tellers"

This is made apparent within the vast variety of songs the duo have come up with, from pop-punk (my h<3rt) to tama motown of (movement).
