After the recent 'Andy Tate' vine phenomenon, I had the idea to take his anger towards David Moyes that extra step further, but instead of incorporating his rants into other famous songs, I decided to give him his own hit. With Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars' infectious 'Uptown Funk' paving the way for the potential rise of funk in 2015 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPf0YbXqDm0), I was inspired to record a similar track (with the odd 80's synth).

I wrote this track after the tragic terrorist attacks that recently occurred in Paris, reflecting on the victims, the ignorance of those who believe extremists and moderates follow the same religious paths, mortality and staying true to our values.

Under blankets of fear
Witness horrors unfold
The statement is clear

Collective tears pour from the eyes of innocence
Fear and confusion, tragedy strikes again
I've stared blankly as two decades decay

Though the rivers of faith are a source of education
Pure springs quench an honest man's thirst
The blind are voracious seeking distorted teachings
We still tar inverse perceptions with the same worn out brush
