Besides compositions with melodic counterpoint, I also experimented with serial (12 tone) compositions.  This was the first of those (There are five - only three made the final cut).  I grouped them into an umbrella title of PuzzleBox as I am too uncreative to give each a respective name.  The featured PuzzleBox compositions do have a color set attributed to them but this is just as a tribute to Mike Patton's ADULT THEMES FOR VOICE where he did the same manner of titling.  

I used one of my all time favorite apps for this, the CURTIS granular synth.

Oorutaichi's new double single, which precedes his forthcoming new album scheduled for release this autumn, includes "Futurelina", an up-tempo electronic tune and a regular repertoire at his shows.

The song, "Futurelina" begins with a bass groove that feels like techno, but then it moves along with synth chord structure and whimsical singing, giving it an electro pop bounciness. the song carries along with more steady groove then anything from "drifting my folklore" but has all the elements that are still very oorutaichi. Chaotic breakdowns ala xiu xiu, strange noise pop, and hyper melodic vocal yells (in his own invented language) give way to a psychedelic folkiness and vocal playfulness that channels T-Rex. it's experimental music you can nod to. playful and refreshing.
