This is my assignment for the graduation event at the Wakamaia Sacred Fun Festival. The festival is a co-creation of an Ecstatic Dance journey, where each student contributes by performing a part of the journey. I have been assigned to perform the integration phase, which is the final stage of an Ecstatic Dance journey. In this phase, participants are guided to settle and absorb the emotional, physical, and energetic experiences they’ve encountered during the dance. It typically follows the "landing" phase, as the music slows and transitions into grounding, calming, and reflective sounds.

Finding My Feet

I was keen to experience my first Seven Sisters Festival and it did not disappoint. After some nurturing massages and healings - I was ready to get on the decks at the Heart stage Fri night at 8pm.
The vibe of this set is inclusive, hearty, feminine powerful energy and joyful.  
Amazing to see women of all ages and backgrounds supporting each other and really getting into it. Was humbling to hear people couldn't leave the dance floor as they were having too much fun.
